1970s Yves Saint Laurent Gypsy Skirt designer-thea-porter Bust: approx 17" flat acrossThis is an exceptional seventies long layered gypsy skirt with the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris label. The original Saint Laurent boutique opened in Paris in 1966 and I believe this to be from about 1970 or so based on the style and the label. It is a spectacular skirt made of a soft, almost fine flannel like brushed cotton on a pretty blue printed hue.
