They are made of brass and mother of pearl. The side handle that is seen in all of the photos is a finger handle which a chain or rope can be added to hang around the neck or shoulder or on a belt. They measure 3 1 2 inches or 9 cm in length and 1 inch or 2. 5 cm in height and the width is adjustable as you adjust the magnification. They are signed with a letter C
