An English language, bound and illustrated guide to the breed, dating to the Victorian period, published 1875. Using the nom de plume Stonehenge, John Henry Walsh (1810 1888) was a sports writer born in London, initially operating as a surgeon alongside until he achieved success with his rural sports titles. Such titles included The Shot Gun and Sporting Rifles of
